Molly Woods is originally from St. Louis, MO where she grew up as the only female between two brothers. In true middle child fashion, Molly sought out an education in BFA Acting and Spanish, moving to Springfield, MO where she currently attends Missouri State University and pursues both degrees. During her time in Springfield, Molly has been seen in Cucumbers (Joyce), Killer Joe (Dottie), Clybourne Park (Betsy/Lindsey), Stupid F*cking Bird (Nina), The Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged (Adam), and The Three Musketeers (Constance), Twelfth Night (Viola), as well as various films in the area. Additionally, Molly is a member of Giving Voice, a nationally recognized interactive theatre troupe based in Augusto Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed which allows audiences to address systemic oppression and microaggressions.
Off-stage/camera Molly enjoys exploring spooky/abandoned sites, hosting theatrical events, designing custom cakes, speaking Spanish, catching up on comics, and performing as a birthday party princess. For the past three years, Molly has hosted, produced, and edited Missouri State Theatre and Dance’s only news show—The T&D Wrap (https://www.youtube.com/user/MSUTheatreDance) of which she is immensely proud.
Post-grad, Molly will be moving to Los Angeles following a run as Molly Aster in Peter and the Starcatcher at Tent Theatre in Springfield, MO this summer.
